Before You Throw It Away
Old does not automatically mean valuable. Ordinary does not automatically mean worthless, either.
Years of working with antiques, collectibles, vintage goods, ephemera, books, household items, jewelry, memorabilia, and unusual material provide a different perspective from a traditional junk-removal service. We look at what is there first.
The goal is to identify realistic resale opportunities, preserve things that should not be casually discarded, and create a practical plan for everything else.
Cleanouts Are a Paid Service
Every property is different, so projects are quoted according to the amount of material, anticipated labor, access, timeline, disposal or transportation requirements, and the nature of the contents. If resaleable material affects the quoted price or becomes part of the agreement, that will be stated clearly before work begins.
A 50% deposit is normally required to schedule the project, with the remaining terms included in the service agreement.

What Happens to the Contents?
There is no single correct destination for everything in a household. Depending on the property and agreement, items may be separated into:
- Material with potential online resale value
- Items suitable for auction or another resale channel
- Donation, recycling, or disposal
- Personal papers, photographs, documents, and family material requiring review
- Items the family wants to retain
Any arrangement involving items being purchased by Dear June Collectibles, retained as part of a cleanout agreement, or handled through another selling method will be discussed before the work is performed.
How the Process Works
- Tell us about the property. Share the location, reason for clearing, timeline, approximate quantity, and photographs when possible.
- We review the situation. Some projects can be screened from photographs; larger projects may require a walkthrough.
- You receive a scope of work. It explains the work, price, treatment of resaleable contents, and any work requiring another provider.
- The project is scheduled. A deposit is collected and the work is placed on the schedule.
- The agreed work is completed. Contents are handled according to plan and the work area is left broom-swept unless the contract specifies otherwise.
What We Are—and What We Are Not
Dear June Collectibles is particularly well suited to properties containing mixed household contents, collections, vintage material, books, ephemera, memorabilia, decorative items, and objects that deserve to be looked at before they are discarded.
We are not trying to compete with high-volume junk-hauling companies. Projects consisting primarily of heavy furniture, construction debris, hazardous materials, or specialist-removal items may require a separate hauler or contractor.
Privacy & Discretion
Estate and household work can expose photographs, correspondence, financial papers, family documents, personal belongings, and other private material. Dear June Collectibles treats client information and household contents discreetly.

Do you buy items directly?
Sometimes. If the property contains items appropriate for Dear June Collectibles, we may discuss purchasing them. A cleanout inquiry does not obligate you to sell anything.
Do you provide formal appraisals?
We can research market information and help identify realistic selling options, but this should not be confused with a formal certified appraisal.
Can you clear an entire house?
Potentially, depending on the contents and physical requirements. Properties dominated by heavy furniture, debris, hazardous material, or specialist work may need another provider for those portions.
What areas do you serve?
In-person services are primarily available in Central New Jersey and Eastern Pennsylvania. Other situations may be considered depending on location and scope.
How much does a cleanout cost?
The quote depends on the property, quantity of material, labor, access, timeline, transportation or disposal needs, and the contents themselves. The first step is to provide information and photographs when possible.
