Welcome to Dear June Collectibles, where history isn’t just something written in books—it’s something you can hold in your hands, display on your shelf, or pass down to someone else.
Who I Am
Hi, I’m Rich—a veteran, lifelong history enthusiast, and someone who believes every object has a story worth telling. My life has taken me through service, travel, and building communities (including as part of the LGBTQ+ community), and one thing I’ve learned along the way is simple: stories matter. They shape who we are and how we connect to each other.

Why “Dear June”?
The name Dear June was born from a conversation with a good friend—a Beatles fan—who combined “Dear” from Dear Prudence with “June” from June Carter Cash, since I’m a Johnny Cash fan. It clicked immediately, much like the joy of finding a collectible that speaks to you.
The Stories We Keep—And the Ones We Create
Most of the items I find already carry a history—sometimes I know the details, like the person who proudly displayed that art glass vase in their home for decades. Other times, I don’t know the full story, and that’s part of the intrigue. It’s like holding a mystery in your hands.
And sometimes, I sell new items—things that don’t have a long history yet but are primed to hold stories of their own. Whether it’s an antique with a rich past or a brand-new piece waiting for yours, the meaning comes from the life it lives with you.
What You’ll Find Here
- Antiques & Collectibles: Carefully chosen for their craftsmanship, uniqueness, and character.
- Stories: Because, as Stephen King says, “it’s all about the story.” Sometimes I can tell you the full tale; other times, it’s a mystery waiting for you to solve.
- A Welcoming Community: Whether you’re a seasoned collector or someone who’s just curious, this is a space built on respect, curiosity, and inclusivity—because what we share in common (our love of history) is stronger than what divides us.
Our Motto – “Let’s Make History”
Every collectible you pick up—old or new—is an opportunity to make history of your own. That’s what Dear June Collectibles is about: honoring the past, embracing the present, and creating something lasting for the future.

FAQs
Do you buy items outright?
In some cases, yes. If you have items that fit our specialty areas (antiques, collectibles, or unique pieces with character), we can discuss purchasing them directly. Otherwise, we can help you sell them through estate sales, auctions, or other channels to maximize their value.
Are you an auctioneer?
Nope—and I won’t pretend to be one (I leave the fast talking to the pros). But I work closely with a trusted, licensed auctioneer and can connect you, prepare your items, and even help you through the process so you don’t have to go it alone.
What’s the difference between an estate sale and estate liquidation?
An estate sale usually means we price and display items in the home for buyers to purchase over a one- or two-day event. Estate liquidation is more comprehensive—it’s about clearing everything out quickly, whether through selling, donating, or otherwise responsibly moving items. Which option you need depends on your timeline and goals, and I can help you figure that out.
How do you price items?
Pricing is based on current market value, historical data, and condition. I’ve been in the antiques and collectibles world long enough to know how to research and price fairly, ensuring you get a realistic return while also moving items efficiently.
Do you handle staging if I don’t own antiques?
Absolutely. While I love using unique pieces to give a home character, staging isn’t about antiques alone—it’s about making a home feel warm and inviting. I can work with what you have to create the right look.
How long does it take to catalog a collection?
It depends on the size and complexity of the collection. A few dozen items can often be done in a day or two, while very large collections may take longer. We’ll discuss your timeline and create a plan that works for you.
Do you work with people outside the area?
For certain services like cataloging or connecting with auctioneers, yes—especially if we can work remotely using photos and digital tools. For in-person estate sales and staging, I currently serve Central New Jersey and Eastern Pennsylvania. Let me know where you are and I’ll let you know if I can help.
How do I get started?
Just reach out! Whether you know exactly what you need or aren’t sure where to start, we can talk through your situation and figure out the best approach together.
