Depending on the project, cataloging may include:

- Historical context where reasonably available
- Recent market-comparable research
- Notes useful for future disposition or organization
Dear June Collectibles is not a certified appraisal service. Market research or cataloging should not be treated as a formal appraisal when an appraisal is required for insurance, probate, tax, charitable-donation, litigation, or other legal purposes.
When a formal appraisal is appropriate, another qualified professional should be used.
Auction Guidance
Some material is better suited to auction than direct sale.
Dear June works with trusted licensed auction professionals and can help identify items that may warrant auction consideration, organize or prepare appropriate material, and help clients understand the next steps.
Dear June Collectibles is not itself an auction house or auctioneer.
Estate Sales
For appropriate properties, an estate sale may be one part of the liquidation strategy.
Before recommending one, we consider the amount and type of material, property access, likely customer demand, timetable, labor involved, and whether another selling method would produce a better overall result.
Not every estate needs an estate sale.
Other Project-Based Help
Some situations do not fit neatly into one service.
If you are preparing a property for sale, reorganizing a collection, dealing with accumulated contents, or simply do not know where to begin, describe the situation rather than trying to diagnose the service yourself.
